Contract Fabric Welding

Welding thermoplastic material is a basic proficiency at Celina, with the three basic styles serving different results:

Hot air welding is the primary method used in paneling large sheets of material, and is also used in creating curved seals when necessary. Though these processes use separate machines, the basic means of sealing are the same.

Hot wedge sealing is best used for materials that may be too volatile or easily melted with direct hot air. The wedge minimizes the area of effect for the heat transfer, giving a very specific melting surface.

RF (radio frequency) welding allows the operator to create seals other than the conventional straight seam, though these types of seams are still possible. Each RF machine makes use of specially designed dies to create the shaped seal of choice.

Here are some standard seal types that Celina can provide you. The letters stand for the seal parts that can vary in size according to your production needs.
